Masters To Be Won By A LIV Player
There are plenty of contenders from LIV golf for the Masters this year, with 13 golfers from the field coming from the tour including some huge names.
Former Masters winners from LIV golf who will take to the field this year include Bryson DeChambeau, Cameron Smith, Brooks Koepka, Jon Rahm, Patrick Reed, Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia, Charl Schwartzel, Dustin Johnson and Bubba Watson.
All of the above names earned a spot at the Masters this year thanks to their past success at Augusta – with the Masters being the only major tournament where a past victory gives you lifetime exemption to play in future events.
The remaining three contenders from LIV golf are Tyrrell Hatton, Adrian Meronk and Joaquin Niemann. Niemann earned a spot on the Masters thanks to a special invitation, while Hatton and Meronk qualified via their world rankings earlier this year when they both broke into the top 50.

Jon Rahm is the most likely winner from the LIV golf field as the Spaniard looks to become just the third player in history to retain his green jacket.
Rahm is currently 11/1 to win the Masters this year with the best golf bookmakers, while the likes of Brooks Koepka and Joaquin Niemann are available at higher prices of 20/1 and 25/1 respectively.
All of the above will have Scottie Scheffler to beat at the top of the market, with the world number one heavily favoured in the current betting after winning back to back tour events at the Players and the Arnold Palmer.
Just Stop Oil To Interrupt The Masters
Just Stop Oil protesters have caused huge issues at past golf events – including at the US Open last year when a smoke flare was set off and orange paint was thrown over the 17th green at Royal Liverpool.
American golfer Billy Horschel was on hand to assist security (see below) midway though his round and despite a poor event, Horschel received a warm applause from the fans as he handed the protestor over to the police.

Although there hasn’t been many Just Stop Oil protests at major events in some time now, the Masters seems like a typical target for the activist group with the whole world tuning in to see who wins the infamous green jacket.
Just Stop Oil members will have to be wary of Jon Rahm if they plan on disrupting this years Masters with the current champion threatening to throw any protesters off the course himself should they get in his way.
Speaking ahead of last year’s US Open, Rahm said determinedly that: ‘You don’t want to disrupt play, which they’re trying, so if it happens where I’m at, I’m obviously going to try to clean up as quickly as possible so we can resume play.
‘I do have a reputation, so I hope they don’t catch me on a bad hole.’
Just Stop Oil are 6/1 to cause a disruption at this years event with our exclusive Masters betting specials.
