The Snoqualmie Casino in Washington has confirmed plans over expanding the building, achieving one of the biggest milestones in its history.

The casino, located in Seattle, will expand its convention center, spa resort and restaurant, while also placing its highest beam on the hotel’s tower on June 14th.
It marks a piece of history for the Tribe in Snoqualmie, as it will create another 500 jobs for residents in the state of Washington and is set to improve the local tourism – due to the high-quality gaming/leisure location.
The architects behind this new expansion, Bergman Walls and Associates, have chosen to include a host of key architectural elements to truly capture the history of Snoqualmie tribe culture.
When looking at certain aspects, the hotel has a sleek, modern roof that is a call back to the longhouses of the tribe’s history.
This is also supported by a carefully selected set of artwork that has been utilized to improve the overall customer experience at the casino.
Furthermore, the project had a group of general contractors, known as SKANSKA, who are planning on implementing the steel structure on the exterior of the building to the inside of the casino building.
The Snoqualmie Indian Tribe, who have been known as the ‘People of the Moon’ throughout history and the Treaty of Point Elliot in 1855 have been considered thoroughly during the expansion.
This expansion has been agreed under the principle that the process adheres to the economic development and cultural preservation in Washington.
In recent years the tribe has completed several ventures to offer over 1,7000 employment opportunities to residents in the state.
The new hotel and casino could be its biggest push towards employment yet, as it looks to have a huge impact on the current state of affairs in Washington.
