Recent Texas Survey Suggests Residents Want New Destination Casino Resort

It was revealed in a recent survey that the vast majority of Texans would not only like a new Destination Texas Casino Resort in the state, but also the full legalisation of sports gambling.

There was a staggering amount of support for a new casino in the vote, with Texans looking to expand the currently limited gambling portfolio within state.

Legislators are currently considering developing a new destination casino in TX, hence the survey, with progress taking a significant step forward following the publics reaction.

Lawmakers in Texas have been looking to expand their current gaming portfolio for some time now and the survey suggests a new destination casino is closer than ever for the Lone Star State.

The survey was conducted between April 5th to the 10th, with 1600 potential voters questioned in Texas.

There was no singular demographic that stood out in the voting – with nearly three-fifths of the total survey agreeing to the potential gaming expansion in their state.

61% of voters supported a new destination resort casino in Texas, with just 27% actively voting against the new proposal.

Sports Betting Still Restricted In Texas

Texas remains one of just 12 states in the US to not allow sports gambling of any form, despite the overwhelming support from residents for restrictions to be lifted.

47% of survey participants gave their support for sports gambling to be made legal in Texas – meaning that restrictions may be lifted in the not too distant future.

Should sports betting restrictions be lifted in Texas, fans would be able to wager on their favorite sports from stadiums within the state as well as at casinos on-site sportsbooks.
