Swintt’s Ontario licence has been approved by the province’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission (AGCO), according to reports.
Swintt Ontario Licence
The gaming provider aims to enter Ontario’s iGaming sector after gaining the necessary certification. It will be Swintt’s maiden voyage into the North American market if fully approved.
Therefore, Swintt will be able to offer and provide its entire range of slots content to active online casino operators. Furthermore, Ontarian operators will seek to build a lasting relationship which could see the creation of new titles.
“Swintt is delighted to have received AGCO approval for its games in Ontario. We’re very excited to now have the chance to take this new and dynamic market by storm,” said David Mann, Swintt’s CEO.
“Being certified to launch in Ontario is definitely a huge step for the company that will enable us to showcase our brand to new audiences on the global stage,” he added.
Players in the Canadian province can expect to find Swintt’s online slots such as Aloha Spirit XtraLock. Furthermore, Tipsy Charms and Law of Gilgamesh will be available via Swintt’s subsidiary studio – Elysium Studios.
Ahead of their expected North American debut, Swintt continues to extend their reach across Europe. In the first half of 2024, the gaming provider has formed alliances with Casino 777 in Belgium and the Netherlands, as well as the Rizk Casino in Serbia.
Meanwhile, the AGCO has informed Ontario-registered sportsbook operators that they must stop taking wagers on World Boxing Association (WBA) events.
This will be effective immediately. The reason the measure has been taken is “to protect the Ontario betting public following concerns that WBA-sanctioned boxing matches are not adequately being safeguarded against match-fixing and insider betting.”
