Fanatics sportsbook and casino is finally launching in New Jersey, marking the 20th state to officially welcome the sportsbook and just the fourth state to launch Fanatics casino.

Having already launched the Fanatics sportsbook and casino app in Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia – now New Jersey becomes the fourth and final location to open the site.

Fanatics recently acquired PointsBet USA, which is set to transform the company into a leading operator in the gaming and iCasino industry.

The acquisition of PointsBet cost Fanatics Betting a reported $225million and following the purchase PointsBet closed all operations in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Chief Executive Officer of Fanatics gaming & betting, Matt King, has been at the centre of the PointsBet acquisition and he outlined in a statement the Fanatics expansion plan during this transition.

“The acquisition of the US businesses of PointsBet has supercharged our expansion plans.

“In addition to our migration of PointsBet customers and technology to the Fanatics Sportsbook and Casino platform, we have also added an incredibly talented team of passionate leaders from the ranks of PointsBet USA that have already made an impact on our business.”

Fanatics Sportsbook Continues To Expand

Following the final payment of the $225m earlier last month, Fanatics Sportsbook is now available in around 95% of online betting markets in the US.

Fanatics sportsbook also continued their expansion across the US earlier this month as Illinois and Arizona became the latest states to welcome the gaming experience.

All former PointsBet accounts have now been transferred over to Fanatics Sportsbook since the acquisition, including customer information and balances from before the purchase.
