Caesars Entertainment Release NHL-Themed Live Blackjack Game For 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs

Caesars NHL Blackjack is now live for players who reside in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The live-dealer game’s release coincides with the start of the 2024 Stanley Cup playoffs.

The casino giant has confirmed that the game will also feature a table replicating an ice rink and the league’s shield. Evolution Gaming Group worked alongside Caesars to bring the game to life.

It’s expected that the launch of Caesars latest title won’t have a huge impact on the company’s online casino revenue. However, the game should boost the operator’s live online gaming revenue.

Caesars Senior Vice President Matt Sunderland said in a recent press release: “The launch of Caesars NHL Blackjack is an exciting moment that enhances our ability to provide our players with an eye-catching game custom to their interests.

“Adding the NHL Shield to our Live Dealer content is only the beginning as we continue to expand our partnership with the League to launch more NHL-branded iCasino games for our online casino platforms.”

Of the three states that Caesars NHL Blackjack is available, Michigan is likely to garner the strongest results. Based on online casino revenue in March 2024, the Great Lake State earned earned $11.3Million via the Grand Traverse Band.

Pennsylvania would be next if using the same method. Last month saw PA bring in around $10.4m through Caesars operators. A hugely impressive return for their online casino revenue.

New Jersey generated just over $6.5m for online casino revenue for March 2024. Although it was a long way off matching the other two states, Caesars NHL Blackjack is expected to prove very popular.

With that said, Caesars NHL Blackjack can really take off in Pennsylvania. Reports suggest residents spend much more online than in brick-and-mortar establishments.

The same can be said of Michigan as well. Bettors have 22 physical casinos in the state to choose from but online gaming revenue is very much on the rise.
