Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey online slot game has been released in Michigan, confirmed BetMGM and PlayAGS on Tuesday (May 21).
The casino favorite will be available exclusively online via BetMGM and at the MGM Grand Detroit. Launching the slot game online and via a land-based casino will help enhance BetMGM’s strategy of intermingling both experiences.
Originally, Rakin’ Bacon was launched by PlayAGS in 2018. Now, the newer version of Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey will provide plenty of up-to-date themes and features.

Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey will once again be centred around the character Cornsquealius in an ancient Greek setting. It will include a 3×5 reel that extends to 6×5 during the bonus features. All in all, there will be 7,776 ways to win.
In total, there are four jackpots that can be won online and in the MGM Grand Detroit. BetMGM VP of Gaming Product & Content, Oliver Bartlett shared his excitement with the launch.

Naturally, the release of the new slot game enhances BetMGM’s strategy of integrating online and land-based casino experiences.
Previously, MGM Resorts International and BetMGM introduced MGM Riches in early 2023. Furthermore, the slot game will be available online and at MGM Resorts properties across America.
Additionally, BetMGM and Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa teamed up in August last year to launch Dual Play Roulette in New Jersey.
The popular casino game allows players to partake in the same game online and at a physical table. BetMGM is expected to integrate the online and land-based experience further with the release of new games later this year.
