Michigan Online Gaming Revenue Hits $275.1Million In March

Michigan reported its highest monthly revenue for online gaming so far this year in March, with $257.1Million taken in from sports betting and igaming operators.

March was a very successful month for Michigan’s igaming revenue, with figures rising by 17.7% from February’s $218.5m. The revenue generated in March was also a 12% increase on January’s number, showing progressive development month-by-month as the year continues.

Michigan’s revenue in March this year from igaming was $215.5m which is 18.8% higher than last years figures from the same month.

There has never been a more positive month for Michigan in terms of revenue since igaming was officially launched within the state – as March 2024 was the most profitable month for online gaming since launching in January 2021. The previous high for revenue from gaming in a single month within Michigan was $188m reported in February earlier this year.

Sports betting didn’t account for anywhere near as much revenue as igaming did through March, but sportsbooks still reported $41.9m of monthly revenue, a 37.4% increase from the month prior.

Detroit Casinos Enjoy Positive March

Detroit’s three commercial casino’s in state are MotorCity Detroit, MGM Grand Detroit and Hollywood Casino at Greektown. The three Detroit casino’s made an impressive $123.9m in March which was a 18.5% rise on the figures from February.
