Here at InstantCasinos.com, we used AI software AttractivenessTest.com to determine who is the most handsome Premier League manager in the 2023/24 season.
The software itself works by using state-of-the-art computer vision and Deep Learning algorithms to calculate the attractiveness score out of 10.00.
In other words, the site tries to imitate how humans would rate attractiveness. It uses machine learning and computer vision algorithms to calculates attractiveness scores from images.
So, who comes out on top as the most handsome Premier League manager? Luton Town boss Rob Edwards pips Mikel Arteta to take the number one spot with a score of 8.39 out of 10.00.
- Rob Edwards is the most handsome Premier League manager (8.39)
- Gary O’Neil scores higher than Pep Guardiola and Eddie Howe (7.20)
- Jurgen Klopp and Ange Postecoglou place in the bottom-half (5.53 & 5.40)
- Sheffield United’s Chris Wilder finishes rock-bottom (5.09)
The Ten Least Handsome Premier League Managers: Chris Wilder Finishes Rock-Bottom
The least attractive Premier League manager of the 2023/24 season is Chris Wilder. Which is strangely ironic considering Sheffield Utd are currently bottom of England’s elite division. Ugly football coupled with Wilder’s score of 5.09 just tops off what has been a largely hideous campaign. Unai Emery has been a revelation since taking over at Aston Villa in 2022. However, his lowly score of 5.32 may leave some scratching their heads as he is a handsome man. AI didn’t agree but im sure the Spaniard or Villa supporters won’t care too much. Ange Postecoglou comes across as more of a club bouncer than a Premier League manager – but looks can be very deceiving. The Tottenham gaffer has introduced a sexy style of play into the Lillywhites this season but everybody’s ‘mate’ can only finish up in 18th position with a score of 5.40. Avoiding relegation via ‘goal difference’ (no idea how AI determined it) is struggling Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino, who shares the same score as Ange Postecoglou. Pochettino has probably aged quite terribly owing to the dross he has to oversee at Stamford Bridge this season. Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola struggled in his first few months on the south coast but he has really turned the Cherries season around. The Spaniard has a cheeky swagger and smile about him and admittedly, it was surprising to see him place so low with a score of 5.42. You have to feel somewhat sorry for West Ham boss David Moyes. Many Hammers fans want him sacked and he has often been teased about his looks. Nonetheless, the Scot has the last laugh after placing higher than ‘pretty boys’ Mauricio Pochettino and Andoni Iraola with a score of 5.46. Next up is Liverpool’s outgoing boss, Jurgen Klopp. The German is ranked as the 14th most handsome Premier League manager of the 2023/24 season. Klopp’s pearly white teeth and wide grin weren’t enough to satisfy AI of even a top-half finish. There’s no denying that Roberto De Zerbi and his Brighton side are pretty darn cool. His cropped hair and beautiful beard complement the Seagulls envious set-up and style of play perfectly. A mid-table finish is a minor surprise but hey, AI knows best – right? The newest manager to be employed in the Premier League in the 2023/24 campaign is Oliver Glasner of Crystal Palace. The Eagles boss scores a respectable rating of 5.67. Finishing above rival boss Roberto De Zerbi will go down well with the Palace faithful. Completing the bottom-half is Newcastle United boss, Eddie Howe. The likeable Magpies manager registered a score of 5.68. Howe will likely be happy with his rating. The 46-year-old has been touted as a future England manager – he’d certainly look sharp in a suit on match days. Sean Dyche comes in as the tenth most handsome Premier League manager of the 2023/24 season. Some may be surprised by his top-half placing – but would you tell him that? The current Everton boss recorded a very admirable score of 5.75. Manchester United have had a largely disappointing campaign this season and to sum it all up, boss Erik ten Hag is ranked as low as ninth. Coincidence? The Dutchman often dons a menacing look owing to the stress that is put on him on a weekly basis. An average score of 5.77 for the Red Devils boss. Vincent Kompany may be struggling at Burnley this season but he certainly isn’t struggling in the looks department. The Premier League legend fully justifies his score of 5.87. However, he would probably trade it all in to see the Clarets avoid the drop. Nottingham Forest may be fighting against relegation and have the threat of a points deduction hanging over them, but at least they have Nuno Espirito Santo. The handsome Portuguese boss generated a favourable score of 6.00 to finish in a UEFA Europa Conference League place. West Londoners Fulham have enjoyed another comfortable campaign in the Premier League this season. The brains and good-looks of Marco Silva have been the catalyst behind the Cottagers fine showing in 2023/24. The Portuguese gaffer pips fellow countryman Nuno Espirito Santo to sixth with a score of 6.32. Floppy-haired Brentford manager Thomas Frank is perhaps a surprise inclusion – coming in at number five on the most attractive Premier League manager’s list. His 90s style curtains have certainly proved to be a huge hit with AI. Taking the first UEFA Champions League spot is Manchester City’s beautiful manager, Pep Guardiola. He really does rank high for his looks as well as his pedigree as a professional football boss. AI agreed and gave the Spaniard a solid score of 6.85. The only Premier League manager to register a score in the 7s is Wolves boss Gary O’Neil. Coming above Pep Guardiola is certainly something to tell the grandkids. O’Neil’s boyish good looks have served him very well this season with the club enjoying some very handsome results this season. Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is very much used to the runners-up spot. The Spaniard is widely regarded as the most handsome manager in the Premier League, but he couldn’t land the coveted top spot on AI. Still, Arteta has the title run in to concern himself with more. The most handsome Premier League manager of the 2023/24 season is Luton Town’s boss, Rob Edwards. It’s hard to disagree with AI’s score of 8.39. His rugged looks complete with his stylish fashion sense make him a brilliant choice. Well played, sir. Liam Solomon, PR Manager at Instant Casinos commented on the data, saying: “Were we surprised to see Rob Edwards come out on top? Absolutely not. “In terms of surprises, Sean Dyche, Thomas Frank and David Moyes all placed higher than what we would have initially imagined. “We thought Eddie Howe, Mauricio Pochettino and Roberto De Zerbi were all deserving of a top-half finish. Mikel Arteta coming second – how ironic!”
