The Pickering Casino Resort cheating scheme has seen a table dealer and two customers charged by the Investigation and Enforcement Bureau (IEB).\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n An investigation was launched on May 4 after the IEB – which is comprised of\u00a0Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers – was tipped off.<\/p>\n According to the allegations, the casino dealer was working in league with the two players in an attempt to defraud the property. However, their scheme was unveiled and all three face a series of charges.<\/p>\n Table dealer Amadeo Rojas has been charged with two counts of criminal breach of trust. Furthermore, he was also charged with two counts of cheat at play and two counts of fraud over $5,000 CAD.<\/p>\n Players Noel Sarsonas and Jeffery Pardinis were charged with cheat at play and fraud over $5,000 CAD. The alleged cheating trio have been released from custody but will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Oshawa.<\/p>\n At the time of publication, the investigation is still ongoing. Also, it is widely believed that nobody else is involved in the Pickering Casino Resort cheating scheme.<\/p>\n Rojas is not the only live table dealer to become embroiled in a cheating scheme at Pickering in recent times. In August 2023, four people were arrested for trying to defraud the casino.<\/p>\n One dealer and three customers were all hit with criminal charges. Investigations indicated that an almost identical ploy was ensuing before the quartet’s scheme was uncovered.<\/p>\n The dealer was charged with four counts of cheating at play. Also, criminal breach of trust, as well as four counts of fraud over $5,000 CAD.<\/p>\n Additionally, the players were charged with fraud of over $5,000 CAD as well as possession of property of over $5,000 CAD obtained in an illegal way.<\/p>\nPickering Casino Resort Cheating<\/h2>\n
