Postecoglou Is Right to be Frustrated With Spurs support<\/b><\/h2>\n

Ange Postecoglou had a verbal dispute with a Spurs supporter behind the dugout for celebrating City\u2019s first goal. The Australian laid into the Spurs fan in his postgame press conference and Lauren admitted he understood Postecoglou\u2019s viewpoint;<\/span><\/p>\n

Lauren: <\/i><\/b>\u201cAbsolutely [I was surprised by Spurs fans cheering Haaland\u2019s goals]. After what Postecoglou said about the game two days ago, these are professionals. They are looking to qualify in a European position for next year and the fact that they didn\u2019t win means they can\u2019t break into the Champions League places. Therefore, I understand the frustration of Postecoglou.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

I Cannot Criticise Tottenham Players – Stefan Ortega Was Too good<\/b><\/h2>\n

A positive result for Tottenham against Man City would have boosted rivals Arsenal\u2019s chance of winning the title and Lauren could not fault their tactics or ambition despite the fact that the were sunk 2-0 on the night;<\/span><\/p>\n

Lauren: <\/i><\/b>\u201cTottenham played a really intense game. They tried to press high up right from the beginning of the match and they created some chances for Son and Kulusevski. Tottenham really pushed in order to try and take the three points. The fact that they didn\u2019t win was down to the great work of the Man City goalkeeper Stefan Ortega, and the way that Man City defended as a team after they scored.
