Virginia has just three casinos as of March 2024 but the state still reported an impressive $65Million revenue through March according to lottery data released earlier this week.

The three casinos that mad the $65m for Virginia are Rivers Casino Portsmouth, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Temporary Bristol and Caesars Virginia.

Virginia casino revenue saw a significant increase in March from February, with a 13.5% rise on February’s numbers of $53.7m.

Virginia’s gaming revenue also took a massive jump from last years same month on month figures. The 73.9% boost in revenue can be attributed to the fact that only two casinos were open in Virginia at this time last year, with Caesars Virginia not opening their doors to the public until May 2023.

With gaming revenue reaching impressive new highs over the last year in Virginia, new permanent casinos are set to be built in the state which could bring in even bigger numbers in the near future.

Caesars Virginia will have a permanent home soon, with a $650m development project in the works to bring a 500-room hotel and casino to VA.

The Bristol Casino is another temporary property set to get a big money upgrade with a new exciting permanent site due to open in summer this year.

See below for a full breakdown of Virginia’s casino revenue in March 2024.

Total revenue: $27.7m

Total revenue: $16.2m

Total revenue: $21m

Breakdown Of Virginia Casino Revenue
