North Carolina has launched its first mobile sports betting market as a host of betting organizations join Caesars by opening in the state.<\/strong><\/p>\n On March 1st 2024, Caesars released its online sportsbook and continued its partnership with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians – as well as the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act.<\/p>\n This has begun a domino effect for several other operators to start in North Carolina having received a license from the Lottery Commission.<\/p>\n Some of the operators launching are, Flutter Entertainment, ESPN Bet, DraftKings and FanDuel – as they look to expand their reach across the country.<\/p>\n DraftKings president, Matt Kalish, has revealed his excitement over launching in North Carolina for the first time in history.<\/p>\n He said: \u201cThe Tar Heel State is home to a passionate fanbase and some of the most iconic college basketball programs of all time, making this an exciting time to introduce legalized online sports betting.\u201d<\/p>\n Carolina Panthers icon Greg Olson will make the first bet with DraftKings in North Carolina’s online sportsbook.<\/p>\n DraftKings are also in a continued business relationship with Nascar and this will be utilized during the launch in North Carolina – as it will take place at the Nascar Hall of Fame in Charlotte.<\/p>\n The Carolina Panthers have also made a step in the online sports betting world. They have signed FanDuel as their official sports betting partner – aiming to legalize sports wagers to those betting.<\/p>\n The ‘Up & Adams’ show on FanDuel TV had former Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly during its broadcast on 6th March at the team’s Bank of America Stadium.<\/p>\n The North Carolina State Lottery Commission has issued eight licenses in total, adding Tribal Casino Gaming Enterprise to the original seven beforehand.<\/p>\n It seems 2024 will be a big year for the online mobile sports betting scene in America, as North Carolina becomes the second new mobile sports betting market after Vermont – just three months into the year.<\/p>\nNorth Carolina Launches First Mobile Sports Betting Market<\/h2>\n
